The Wrekin Masonic Association (WMA) is a Board of Directors/Trustees, whose remit is to manage all aspects of The Masonic Hall in Wellington, Telford.
Our vision and goal, is to ensure we offer a venue, maintained to the highest standard, available for private hire and not limited to Masonic Lodges. We are proud that our function room is one of the most modern, appealing, adaptable and versatile venues in the local area, available for use by interested groups and organisations outside the Masonic world.
What is Freemasonary?
Freemasonary is a unique members’ organisation which has thrived for over 300 years. Having no political or religious affiliations, we comprise members of all ages, races, religions, cultures and backgrounds. We encourage all to be tolerant and respectful and actively to fulfil our civic and charitable responsibilities; we also make time to eat, drink and meet together, and form lifelong friendships.
We offer a modern, clean, vesitile and adaptable venue, situated within a very unique environment embellished with stunning views of the Wrekin and conveniently located in the heart of Telford, suitable for a multitude of purposes, with easy access from both public and private transport.
Capable of formal seating in excess of 60 for dining, or 90 if standing, it is a practical and pleasing space.
Our function room includes equipment to host conferences and meetings (WiFi available), full presentation facilities, a licensed bar and access to a dedicated catering provider who offer services varying from tea/coffee to buffets and full hot meal menus (including Silver Service if required).
We currently host a number of diverse groups from a modern dance school to Tai Chi classes which demonstrates the versatility of the venue.
Our function room is fully accessible and compliant for disabled individuals, further embellished by a recently resurfaced 25 space car park to enable improved and more comfortable access for all.
We can also offer (with prior arrangement) an insight into the World of Freemasonary given the attachment to the Masonic facilities on site, you never know you may be tempted to become a member.
